So we were in the Jalan Bukit Ho Swee neighbourhood and decided to have our weekend brunch at Sin Lee Foods. Its name itself strikes a stark difference from the other cafes in Singapore, insinuating something so raw and traditional. Yet their food items scream otherwise. Few years ago, we went to Hong Kong for a vacation and travelled through mountains and seas just to get to sink our teeth into one of Tai Cheong Bakery’s egg tarts. Their egg tarts have been locally and globally recognised as the best in Hong Kong since decades ago!
